Yes. I wouldn’t know where to begin to create the textures in your artwork. And I don’t think it’s digital artwork.
I layer the pieces with a texture (similar to real walls) before I start to paint. I also spend a lot of time burnishing it as I go to make the elements appear more authentic. There are occasional maps applied as backgrounds. I don’t plan much of the work ahead of time. I build upon layers as I go. You can see the progression on my facebook page where I post the work in progress.
